NEILSON DAIRY WILL BE ROLLING OUT CIS' DIRECT STORE DELIVERY SOLUTION ON ALL ITS DISTRIBUTION ROUTES IN CANADA

Neilson Dairy, based in Ottawa, will be rolling out CIS’ DIRECT STORE DELIVERY (DSD) solution – Route Companion – on all its distribution routes in Canada. Neilson Dairy was acquired by Saputo Inc. (also a CIS client) some time ago, in an effort of the latter to increase its presence on the Ontario fluid milk and cream market. Saputo has been a CIS client for many years, using CIS’ Companion Suite for its DSD distribution and field sales activities. Route Companion will help optimize Neilson’s direct store delivery operations, providing them with full visibility and control over their field operations. DSD drivers will carry out all their daily activities directly on Intermec’s handheld computers, which will help them to simplify clerical work and become more productive and efficient.
