J.L. Brissette expands its business relationship with CIS Group

J.L. Brissette, a major distributor of non-alcoholic beverages for Coca-Cola, entrusted their entire distribution management system to CIS Group. Starting on January 15, 2007, 8 delivery people and 2 sales reps at J.L. Brissette will be equipped with the Companion Suite. J.L. Brissette was already capitalizing from CIS group expertise for their central system. Now personnel on the road will also benefit from “smart” tools that will help them optimize their efficiency.
With the small handheld computers Symbol MC9000 and the O’Neil Printpad 9000 printers, Route Companion will simplify and improve many of the daily activities of delivery personnel at J.L. Brissette. This solution will overcome the lack of visibility in the supply chain, reducing errors and improving productivity. Sales reps will also benefit from CIS Group's business solutions. With Sales Companion, sales reps on the road will maximize their full potential, minimizing errors and cost. With the use of a powerful tablet pc, Sales Companion acts as an automated sales assistant to manage their daily activities. As a result, these added capabilities will bring about maximized sales.
“These tangible benefits are passed on to personnel on the road that will in turn optimize their time management. They will have available, up to date data on their inventory, marketing programs and promotions. This will minimize human error such as providing wrong pricing or setting wrong delivery dates.
