RECYCAN WILL BE AUTOMATING ITS BEER EMPTIES RECYCLING OPERATIONS WITH CIS' DIRECT STORE DELIVERY/ROUTE ACCOUNTING SOLUTION
After carefully evaluating various alternatives to optimize their operations in accordance with their unique business requirements, Recycan decided to rely on CIS to help them automate and optimize their direct store delivery operations. Recycan is a Quebec-based company that assists Molson-Coors and Labatt breweries in the recycling and management of their beer empties. CIS’ Direct Store Delivery solution – Route Companion – offers the flexibility to adapt to Recycan's specific business needs. The Route Companion mobile application will run on Intermec’s CN3 paired with Datamax-O’neil PrintPADs. DSD drivers will have all the necessary information to carry out their daily activities directly on these mobile units, capturing signatures and archiving all invoices and receipts. All the data will flow in a bidirectional environment, transferring information processed on the road with Rogers Wireless data services directly to their back-end application.
